Now you can ask your Facebook friend to tell you more than they haven’t revealed online. There is a strange ‘Ask’ button on every information section left blank by your friends.
The new feature began appearing on Facebook profiles this week. In the "About" section, there is now an "Ask" button
The owner of the page cannot see the button, but it is visible to people visiting their page. People who use the button are asked to send a message
The new feature also allows users to ask for other unlisted information including phone number, email address, current city, hometown, and place of employment.
"For example, a friend could ask where you work or for your hometown. If you choose to answer, this information is then added to your profile. By default, only you and your friend can see it, and you also have the option of sharing it with others, too."
