Facebook has decided to dislodge excessively promotional posts from timeline in 2015 |
Facebook said last days that they are taking more steps to show fewer
spammy promotional posts on your timeline and it is not a talk about
traditional web ads. This is a conversation about excessively promotional
status updates posted by Page accounts, like the ones you can see after the
break, said by facebook. The social network promised to put "like-bait" posts (of the "1 Like = 1 Prayer"
type) in the ground by underside more relevant content earlier this year, and
it's liable the same object now to Page statuses that plunge under any of these
criteria:
·
Posts that exclusively
drive people for buying a product or install an app
·
Posts that push people
to go through promotions and sweepstakes without any authentic perspective
·
Posts that reprocess
the exact similar content from ads
After a survey, asking
the users over the possibilities for improving the News Feed, it was revealed
that people (as you'd expect) want to see more of their friends' status updates.
This survey pushed the facebook correspondents to decided to come out with this
change. Now you don’t have to worry about the non-spammy businesses and
individual Pages, although they will not be influenced when the refreshed News
Feed algorithm will result in January 2015.
